The Thrill of an Escape Room with Multiple Rooms: Why More is Better

A player opens a door in an escape room, which lead into another room with more puzzles.

If you’ve ever been to an escape room, you know that the story, the size of the room, and the complexity (or simplicity) of the puzzles are all important. But there’s no better feeling than when you think the game is over—because there’s nothing left to solve in the room—only to have a secret passage or trapdoor suddenly open, revealing a whole new world with even more intriguing puzzles. Only escape rooms with multiple rooms can provide this experience.

What is a Multi-Room Escape Room Experience?

Briefly the latest escape room experience. Old, outdated escape rooms only offered a single game space. But the latest new-generation rooms can include two or even three rooms. The main thing? Surprise! In these rooms, it’s not worth planning ahead, wondering how many puzzles or challenges there will be in total and progressing accordingly… Who knows how many new riddles await you in the next room?

The goal is to get out of the room as quickly as possible. Just play and enjoy the continuous surprises that only multi-room escape rooms can deliver. Here at PanIQ Escape Room Atlanta, every one of our rooms has multiple spaces. Of course, we won’t spoil how many rooms each one contains… If you’re curious, book now and come play with us!

How Multi-Rooms Enhance the Challenge and Storyline

As we mentioned before, these new-generation rooms offer a lot more fun than the older, so-called “lock-and-key” generation rooms, because:

  • There isn’t just one game space, but multiple ones.
  • You can’t know in advance where the passage is or when you’ll reach it… you’re in for big surprises.
  • More complex stories can be created thanks to the variety of locations.
  • Longer gameplay due to the multiple stages.
  • More puzzles can fit without having to cram them all into one space.
  • They require more teamwork, as you have to tackle challenges and puzzles across different locations.

The Best Escape Room with Multiple Rooms in Atlanta

If we had to pick just one room as the best escape room with multiple rooms in Atlanta, it would be the Medieval Madness room. There’s no other escape room like it in Atlanta’s West Midtown area.

  • Story: You have 60 minutes to find your way out of a dark and slightly scary dungeon. The puzzles all highlight the room’s creepy atmosphere. The goal is to earn redemption and escape the darkness. This room is recommended for players aged 10 and up.
  • Gameplay: There are more than 20 puzzles in this room—spread across one, two, or maybe even three rooms? We don’t want to answer that question… instead, come and find out for yourselves.
  • Experience: Absolutely thrilling. This room has consistently provided us with the best reviews and photos since we opened. Our Facebook page attests to that.
  • Price: $34.99 per person in a public room for any group, and $39.99 per person in a private room (minimum 3 players). With two players, the price is $41.99 per person on weekdays and $49.99 per person on weekends (private room).

Booking Tips and Group Size Recommendations

It’s best to book in advance because spots fill up quickly—especially if you want to play on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Our rooms are ideally suited for up to 8 players, except for the Red Wire room, which can accommodate a maximum of 5 players. However, for every one of our escape rooms, the more players you have, the more fun you’ll have. We only recommend the Medieval Madness room for two players if they already have experience with escape rooms or have played at least one of our other rooms.
