"When will the store open?"

Booking (Cost, Events, Vouchers)

"How does booking work?"

For each available time slot on our Booking page, there is a price displayed. The price varies depending on the day and time you would like to visit us. Each price is for a group of 6 players, and one additional player can be added for $25. You will be prompted for online payment when making the reservation.
Same day reservations can be easily booked online; our availability is updated in real-time.
After making the reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at nyc@paniqroom.com.

"There are more than six of us and we would like to play together. Can we do that?"

The minimum number of players we allow is two people, unless stated otherwise on the room's profile. The maximum number we recommend is six people, but for an additional fee one extra player is allowed. If you have an even larger group, we’d suggest booking two rooms at the same time—we could make it a friendly competition! Check out our Events page.

"We would like to organize a corporate event or a bigger team building game! What do we do?"

We love team building events! We have three game rooms that we can run in congruent time slots, for 18-21 players escaping at the same time. Each of our Game Masters are highly experienced and can host a game tailored to your team’s needs. "I would like to surprise someone with 'escape' as a gift! How can I do that?"

You can purchase a gift voucher for your recipient conveniently online, here. You can print it out, or send the voucher confirmation directly to the recipient and its voucher number can be applied to the reservation when booking online.

“I have a Groupon—How does that work?”

Currently, our Groupon is only valid for The Cage, the Cards, and the Cash room. To use your Groupon, select any of the available time slots for The Cage, the Cards, and the Cash room, choose Voucher as your payment method, and enter your code. There is no restriction on the time or day for which these vouchers can be used—so long as your game is played before your voucher’s expiration date! Limit of one voucher per reservation, extra players are $25/person (maximum 7 players/game).

"What happens if my voucher's promotional value expires?"

After the expiration date of your coupon, its promotional value expires, but you can still redeem it at the PanIQ Room for the amount you have paid. For example, if you paid $99 for a coupon redeemable for a $149 ticket, that coupon is still valid for $99 worth of ticket. Our system will accept your reservation, and you will have to pay the $50 difference at the door to play. To make a reservation using an expired voucher, please contact us at nyc@paniqroom.com!

"The number of participants showing up may differ from the number that was booked. Is this a problem?"

No, it's not! In this case you don't need to call us. It's okay if we learn the final number of your group at the door. The number of participants given when making the reservation beforehand is just an indicator. Group limits are always suggested for optimal experience – the ideal group is between four and six people, and the maximum number we allow is seven.

Policies (Cancellations, Rescheduling, Age Restrictions)

"What is your cancellation & reschedule policy?"

All sales are final. We do not issue refunds for cancellations and no shows.

Reschedules will not be permitted within 24 hours of your scheduled game. You may only reschedule a game one time. If you used a voucher, your voucher code will be automatically marked as redeemed after making a reservation. Reply to your original confirmation email with a new date and time when you’d like to come, and we will reschedule your game!

"How do I cancel my reservation?"

You can cancel your reservation by replying to your original confirmation email and letting us know that you'd like to cancel. However, we encourage you to reschedule because there are no refunds applied for canceled reservations.

"What's the age policy at PanIQ Room?"

Children under 10 will not be admitted under any circumstances. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.*

For children age 10-14, an adult must be in the room while playing.

For people age 15-18, an adult must show up before the game to check the players in and sign a waiver, but the adult does not have to be in the room during the game.

"When should I arrive?"

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment, because we have important pre-game procedures for your team including a waiver and rules. Your 60-minute timer starts precisely at the time you reserved.

"What if we're late for our game?"

Your game begins precisely at the time you reserved, and your group can certainly start later, but you will have less time. Keep in mind the pre-game procedures (waiver and rules) for which we ask you to be 15 minutes early!

Travel (Parking, CTA, Restaurants)

"When should I arrive?"

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment, because we have important pre-game procedures for your team including a waiver and rules. Your 60-minute timer starts precisely at the time you reserved.

"What if we're late for our game?"

Your game begins precisely at the time you reserved, and your group can certainly start later, but you will have less time. Keep in mind the pre-game procedures (waiver and rules) for which we ask you to be 15 minutes early!

"Where is your location?"

Our address is: 102 Eldridge St., New York, NY, 10002 . We’re near the corner of Grand & Eldridge St.

“Where do I park?”

There is limited 2-hour street parking on all surrounding streets, or you park in the iPark garage a minute walk from PanIQ Room. Allow extra time to find a spot during weekday business hours, as it is most congested then.

The parking garage is at 59 Allen St, New York, NY 10002.

"How can I get there by public transit or bike?"

PanIQ Room is conveniently located within a few minute’s walking distance from the B and D trains at Grand & Chrystie, as well as a less than 10-minute walk from the F at East Broadway and or Delancy/Essex.

Please remember to always check the MTA website to ensure that the subway trains are running. They can occasionally shut down for train maintenance. We will not be able to reschedule your game due to train delays.

The M15/M15-SBS busses also run Uptown and Downtown along Allen St. (Please exit at Allen & Grand St – we’re right around the corner on Eldridge.)

“Restaurant Recommendations?”

Here at PanIQ Room, we LOVE coffee and pastries! Located right next door is one of our favorites, The Granddaddy. We are also located in Chinatown, which means there is no shortage of great food to check out in the area. Two bars we recommend for cocktails and dinner are Casa Mezcal, and Sel Rose!

Games (Difficulty, Group Size, Duration)

"What is the difference between the rooms?"

They differ in their story, mood, design, size and difficulty. Each one is unique and offers a different experience. The goal remains the same: Escape! Check out the Escape Rooms menu for more info. We are keeping the rest a secret!

"What's the ideal group size for an escape room?"

The most compelling and exciting adventure games occur with groups of four to six players. If your group is smaller you can still play the game, but your experience may be a bit more challenging. However, the maximum number beyond which we will not allow the game to be played is seven people.

"Do I have to sign anything before the game starts?

Each player will have to sign a waiver of liability before the game starts.

"How long does it take to finish the game?"

It depends on your performance. When the game starts, you have 60 minutes to escape, so if you escape earlier, you are free! Most groups spend about an hour and 20 minutes at PanIQ Room: 15 minutes pre-game, 60 minutes of game-play, and 5 minutes afterwards for pictures and any questions.

Accessibility & Health Concerns

“Are there any health conditions that would prevent a player from playing the game?"

Please contact us prior to your game or prior to booking if you are worried about a specific health issue in relation to gameplay. Our Game Masters can accommodate players’ needs and alter the games to a certain extent, though by nature escape games are exciting! Our aim is not to scare people; these are brain games.

"Is PanIQ Room wheelchair accessible?"
